Wayne Rotary contribution to the Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad
On January 18th 2012, Lisa Wald was our Rotarian of the Month, and she chose the Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad as her favorite charity. At our luncheon to receive a check, and make a fascinating presentation, was the organization's President, Mary Claire Shiber.
Known by many to be the best ambulance squad in New Jersey, this group has 140 members and is always looking for more. All members have radios…and there are lots of calls…so many that there are even members from other cities who joined our squad because it is where the action is. The Squad has been in action since 1943.
Because there are lots of volunteers, the group needs additional monies for training. Always looking for contributions or participation in fundraisers. They have five ambulances, very well equipped, and also have the jaws of life to extricate victims. Thank You Wayne Rotary!

Winter 2012 Fund Drive now in Progress
Our Winter 2012 residential fund drive is now in progress.
Our all volunteer first aid squad relies on the community for financial
support so we can purchase supplies and equipment, maintain our
vehicles and provide first aid services free of charge for the residents
of Wayne Township. Please help us reach our fund raising goals. To
donate to the squad, please mail your tax deductible donation to
PO Box 2004, Wayne NJ 07474 or drop it off at our building located
at Hamburg Turnpike & Squad Place.
